Figurative Drawing and Other Studies

My drawing has always been a way to stay in touch with an expressive visual analysis that I believe is fundamentally important to an artistic development. Its role for me is both collective from and connective to the world, history and time. I feel in community with ancient artists when studying and drawing their works of art and reinterpreting the same into a contemporary context. Sometimes it is confirmation that our life experiences are extremely common to each other, at other times it is personal expression.
